Tomorrow it's christmas so I thought I'd do another christmasy post, this time the christmas tag.
I really like elf, I think it's quite funny and I just really love buddy. Though I also really love the grinch, I watch it every year when it's on tv.
Have you ever had a white christmas?
Yes I have, I live in the Netherlands so the weather is kind of the same as in englend. If the winter is cold enough we will have snow, though the last few years it wasn't :(.
where do you usually spend your holiday?
Instead of boxingday we have second christmas day so on the first christmas day we go to my moms family and have dinner and on the sencond christmas day we go to my fathers family. I like it most at my moms because I have thease cute nephews who get really exited and they're just lost of fun.
What is your favorite christmas song?
Well it used to be All I Want For Christmas Is You but this year I can't choose between Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) by Michael Bublé and Merry Christmas Everyone.
Do you open any presents on christmas eve?
We always have breakfast on Christmas morning and after that we will open our presents, so no we never open any presents on christmas eve.
Can you name all of santa's reindeers?
Honestly I don't think so but I'll give it a try. There's this song in wich they name all of them ehm... Ofcourse you have Rudolph, Dasher, Danser, Cupit, Commet, Vixten... I don't think that's right but I don't know more. I'm sorry, I'm a terrebel human being
What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
Well usually I'm hella exited for christmas breakfast, but this year I have to work on first chrismas day from 10 to 1 so the breakfast will be kinda rushed :/. I think now I look most forward to christmas dinner with my moms family because me and my mom get to make the desert and it's going to be soooooo delicious!!!
Is your christmas tree real or fake?
Ofcourse it is real. Christmas isn't a real christmas without a real tree. If you have a fake you miss the picking and the smell and you just no.
What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?
I really like candycanes but my mom never buys them because she's hates them so we never have those. I do also really like good christmas cookie, with like ginger and stuff. Those guys make my tummy hella happy.
Be honest: do you like giving giftsor receiving gifts better?
Honesly I kinda like both. I really like to find a nice gift for someone and than wrapping it up really nice with ribons and little tags. Though getting a gift is always nice, I mean free stuff ;D.
What is the best christmas gift you've ever received?
I remember when I was really young I got this doll and I was so freaking happy. It was one of those baby dolls wich you could dress and give a bottle and it was the best thing ever. Every little girl loves a doll to take care of.
What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season.
I would really love to go to a little winter wonder land, like I don't know, Sweden or someting like that. I would love to just chill in a nice little house with my family and play around in the show. It would be so nice and cosy and just beautifull. Maybe I could find a wild reindeer and take it home, that would be so cool.
Most merorable holiday moment?
I don't really have one that stands out, christmas is always just a wonderfull time. I guess I just really love the small things, like making dessert for christmas dinner or decorating the tree. Everything is just so nice and cosy and I thing I really love all of my christmases.
What made you realize the truth abour santa?
I think when I was about seven or eight my parents told my Sinterklaas wasn't real and that meant santa wasn't either. But I don't even think santa gave me the presents they were just there, because we had sinterklaas we didn't really have the santa thing.
Do you make New Years resolutions? And do you stick to them?
Yes I always make some but they are always things like get more active or eat less chocolate and those things just never happen because I´m a lazy fucker and I love food.
What makes the holidays special for you?
Most of my familie lives a 45 minute car ride away, so I don't see them as much as I want. At christmas we just get together and make dinner and just have a lovely time. I just love my family and get hella happy when I see them.
